What are the largest lengths that FusionPro will compose or allow?

FusionPro doesn't actually have a limit. If your system can handle it, so can we. [

FusionPro: 5.1p2b
OS: Mac PowerPc Are you certain of that? I am trying to do a 30w x75h and it will not preview or compose with the converted EPS. If I make the template 75w x 30h, it actually works thus i assume that FusionPro actually does have a height limitation. |

The limitation isn't with FusionPro but, possibly, with Acrobat. I'll run some tests here.

Yup - I just ran a composition of a 30" wide by 75" high template without issue.
UPDATE: I just re-ran it and had some missing text. I'm investigating now. Last edited by Admin; November 11th, 2008 at 11:55 AM.. |

There is a limitation on page height of template (background) PDF pages of about 45.5 inches, or 3.79 feet. (This is 327680 in hundredths of points in the DIF file, or 32768 in tenths of points, i.e. the maximum value for a signed 16-bit integer.) Above that, FusionPro will output a page with the correct size, but the contents will be blank.
That said, I'll reiterate my recommendation on scaling up wide-format output from here: Quote:
