dgraves
I have a huge pdf document that I want to come out of desktop into PPML, but the pdf has transparency. It seems PPML does not work with transparency. Is there another file type that I can come out in to allow for faster printing? Also, is there a manual I can download that describes the different types?
Alex Marshall
Hello, The PPML output format is a postscript based output stream. Several effects in the template artwork such as Transparency, drop shadows, masking, etc cannot be translated in the postscript language. You will need to flatten these effects in the design application before composing to this format. You can use Adobe Acrobat's "PDF Optimizer", available in Acrobat Professional, with settings to flatten transparency which will address this issue.
