Sabien
My question is about compatibility: I do contract work for a printing company creating the layout and Fusion files for various mailers - I collect the files and send to them and their mailing department does the mail prep and printing. We have the same versions of FusionPro VDP Creator (9.2.31) but have different MaxOSX and Adobe versions. My System: MacOSX 10.9.5 / InDesign CC (9.2) / Acrobat 11.0.09 / Fusion VDP Creator 9.2.31 Printer's System: MacOSX 10.8.5 / Acrobat 10 (CS5.5) / Fusion VDP Creator 9.2.31 I've been working with them for a few years with an older Fusion but we're upgrading everything - they don't want to upgrade Adobe as far as I have. As long as we're using the same Fusion version - does the rest really matter? Any potential issues that anybody can see? Thanks
Dan Korn
There should be no interoperability issues with two machines running the same version of FusionPro VDP. However, you need to make sure that the two machines both have all of the fonts needed for any FusionPro templates installed. And they both need to have access to any other resource such as graphics.
