Question Fonts not working correctly after update

Since my update to 9.3.21, all of my fonts in VDP Creator are displaying and composing as Arial.
The status of each is "OK", so I'm not sure why they aren't working.

The update to 9.3.21 went through the process of loading fonts, and I have done so manually as well. I've rebooted, reinstalled a font, and attempted to load fonts again, but still to no avail. I've looked for comments related to font issues post the Sept 11 release of 9.3.21, but I have't seen anyone else having this same problem.

Could someone please direct me to a resolution? Thanks

More information is required in order to diagnose the problem. Some things that would be helpful to either attach here or send to Support are:
  • The composition log (.msg) file.
  • The fonts.ini file (from "C:\Users\Public\Documents\PTI\FusionPro\").
  • The fonts.err file (from the same location).
Also, from which previous version of FusionPro did you upgrade?

How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

The correct spellings are JavaScript, FusionPro, and MarcomCentral (each with two capital letters and no spaces). Acceptable abbreviations are JS, FP, and MC (or MCC). There is no "S" at the end of "Expression" or "Printable"! The name of the product is FusionPro, not "Fusion". "Java" is not is not the same as JavaScript.

Check out the JavaScript Guide and JavaScript Reference! FusionPro 8.0 and newer use JavaScript 1.7. Older versions use JavaScript 1.5.

Okay, thanks. I don't see any problems in those.

Some more questions:
  • Does this happen with all jobs, or just with a particular one?
  • Are you embedding fonts in the output?
  • If you right-click on the Output and select Document Properties, then go to the Fonts tab, what fonts are liseted?
If it's easier, you can just attach the output here.

Apparently it is just this one project, so it's irony that I updated to 9.3.21, and the first project post-update has this issue.
Fonts are embedded
All fonts are listed in the PDF document properties.
Due to the content of the project, I cannot post the output online.

I think this issue just transitioned to a technical support conversation, because my solution, likely will not be beneficial to the community.

As it turns out, I had a <span> tag that was not closed and wrecked havoc on every line that followed.
