rgreenidge
Is it possible to tag fields in InDesign or Quark before you export to Acrobat so that when the PDF is created your variable fields are ready to receive data. Thanks, Richard.
mhilger
Richard, I believe there is but I'm not in front of a computer with InDesign right now to test and confirm. In InDesign, enter text in this syntax - <<VariableName>>. So "Hello, <<FirstName>> - here's your special offer". Exporting that frame as a variable frame should show the variable in the brackets as a FusionPro Variable (if memory serves). Of course, you'll need to make sure you have a field or text rule that has the exact same name as these variables. hth
