Text Color Options for Rich Text

Is there a way for a user to choose a color of text from a couple options provided? For example, this would be helpful when text is on a dark background a user defines or a light one to switch from white to black text.

Yes, it is possible to let users choose a Template Asset Color for a specific Template Field. They are called Format Fields. Format Fields allow users to choose Font Size, Font Color, Font Face and Font Style. The Format Field is applied to an entire Template Field.

First, the color must be listed as one of the Template's Colors Assets. This can be done by adding the color to the FusionPro Template (FusionPro > Advanced > Colors). Colors can also be added in MarcomCentral via Add Library Colors (Template Setup/Configuration > Assets > Colors > Add Library Colors). But, the colors need to be in one of your Shared Libraries.

Second, add a Format Field to the Template Form Display in MarcomCentral (Template Setup/Configuration > Form Display > + Add a Format Field). Set your Form Prompt, Sort Order, Format Type = Font Color and Apply To = Your Template Field).

Third (optional), you can limit the available color choices via a UI Rule (Template Setup/Configuration > UI Rules > Available UI Rules = Filter Drop-Down > + Add Rule Instance > 1. Choose Field = Format_YourFieldName_Color > 2. Filter Values = Select All Colors to be Removed > Remove Selected Values > OK)
