Re: Connect Text Frame to Graphic Frame

Of course! That's what variable data is all about. If you can tell me a bit about how the different signature graphics are denoted in the data, or what in the data indicates which graphic to use, I...

Re: Connect Text Frame to Graphic Frame

Great, glad I could help!

You can specify either the height or width of the graphic (or both, if you want to stretch it), by adding attributes with those names to the graphic tag (as documented in...

Re: Connect Text Frame to Graphic Frame

Do a regular composition (not a Preview) and click View Log, and see if there are any messages related to the signature graphic.

Rather than hard-coding paths into rules, I recommend doing either...

Re: Connect Text Frame to Graphic Frame

For markup tags, just like in XML and HTML, if an attribute value has spaces in it, you need to put quotes around it. Also, you should account for the "else" case where the field doesn't match. ...

Re: Connect Text Frame to Graphic Frame

Yes, but you don't use a separate graphic frame; instead, you insert a graphic into the text frame. This is called an "inline graphic." (The User Guide calls it "Graphic Tag Inside Story Tag.") ...

Re: Suppress empty rows in a table

What do you mean you "received a message?" Was this a message in the composition log (.msg) file from the FusionPro composition? Or did you see that message somewhere else?

I can't really do...

Re: Issue with Ampersand in URL for QR Code

Try this instead:
var dataforbarcode = "http://order.com/H3W/Main-A.asp?No=" +
encodeURIComponent (Left(Field("CODE"), 8)) +
"&DMC-DIRECTMAIL&mid=H3W&version=A";
You don't need to URL...

Re: Slow preview

An upcoming version of FusionPro VDP on Mac will have many font improvements, including the removal of the limitation on the number of fonts that can be loaded.

Re: Image not showing in Preview on Mac

That's as I would expect. Like I said, it's hard to diagnose what the issue is with your network from here.

An upcoming version of FusionPro VDP will likely remove support for Type 1 fonts, and...

Re: Image not showing in Preview on Mac

I suspect there's an intermittent connectivity issue between the Mac and the file server. Also, I'll note that AFP has been deprecated for some time in favor of SMB.

Other than that, I'm not sure...

Okay, thanks. Unfortunately, there's not much for me to go on to examine what's going on with your computer in the context of this thread. I suggest contacting Support.

"That one?" Which one? You mean the Frodo tutorial?

Upgraded from what version? I can tell you that we do most of our testing on Mojave, and don't see this problem. Also, the vast majority of...

Re: Slow preview

Does this happen for all templates, or just one particular one? If you open up, say, the Frodo Travel tutorial, is that slow to preview as well?

Sorry, that's a function in FusionPro 10.1.

["L", "Linkedin URL"],
];

var frameWidth = 3 * 7200; // for rule...

Re: Counting Multi-Line

I see. You're actually composing just a single record of output.

So this isn't really a multi-line record job at all. In fact, it's not even a multi-record job. (In MarcomCentral, we would...

I don't understand what you mean here:

What do you mean "on the input file name"? There is a property named "recordCount", which you can access on an object of type ExternalDataFileEx. There are...

Re: Grab input file modified date

I don't think there's a way to do this, at least not with Creator. Generally, the underlying OS and its file system are not query-able in a JavaScript rule, except for searching for the existence of...
