  1. Emailed tech support, I guess they're working on a fix.
  2. Setting a Drap and Drop rule. First "if" statement is fine, rule works. When I try to create a second "if" statement by dragging "if" to the right window, I get "else return." Also cannot drag "if" over that to replace it. After 10-15 tries, it finally takes the "if" statement. Has happened over and over since I upgraded to FP 9.2.26.
  3. I'm trying to break up an imposed file in several sections, and maintain the number sequence in the imposition. 20 up, 1000 total in the sample, stack 50. Works fine when not imposing. I have also tried infinite stack. Usually I get the whole file in one document. What numbers would I put in the "output to multiple files" and "different number of records in first file" in the sample I've attached, to get 2 equal documents of 50 pages each, maintaining the number sequence? batch test.zip
  4. Sorry I was late in posting the edit. It was noticed at the cutter, so I opened the pdf and confirmed it. I measured from crop to crop using the pitstop measuring tool.
  5. No, not the old message board flame-war topic. I'm running Fusion Pro 9.1.0 on Mac OS 10.8.5, 8 gigs RAM. Another machine in my office is running same version on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, 8 gigs RAM. We took the same file and composed it. Mac took about 3 minutes. Windows took about 20 minutes. Is this typical? Any tricks to speed up the Windows box?
  6. Here's a sample. Forgot to add: Output as pdf. It goes to Fiery rip running a xerox 1000, but the misalignment shows up when you preview the imposed pdf. DRAG AND DROP rules.zip
  7. Imposing sports tickets, 2 sides, 1.85" x 6", 20 up on 19"x13" stock. After printing the crop marks vary anywhere from 1.85" to 1.8546". Same imposition, same document size, same stock, no bleed. Ideas?
  8. Spoke too soon. The graphics that looked fine on the pdf were reduced to about 15% size in the ppml.
  9. Solved. In my case, OpenType was the culprit. I can't get it to convert to outlines using Pitstop, for that matter. Swapped it out with Truetype, produced ppml with no errors.
  10. Got job to work. I had two pdf files in the resource list. Changed files to jpegs. That will be a problem with large runs.
  11. Hang on! It works! Stupid mistake on my part. Thanks so much.
  12. When validating. When I run the composition, I get Sheet #1, record #1 RandomBack, line 4: Error: In Resource(), no resource named B 1.pdf No value associated to graphic copyhole <RandomBack> in record 1.
  13. Sorry, I'm not clear on the return Resource line. I have 7 backs B 1.pdf B 2.pdf B 3.pdf etc. Using your code, I get the message RandomBack, line 4 Error: In resource(), no resource named B NaN.pdf I can make the backs 1-seven page file if need be.
  14. Here's a sample script. It works fine, but it would require code for every composition sheet, the number of which often runs into the thousands.
