  1. Hey there. I know just enough to be dangerous....I'm working on a file that as created years back but there was one issue that was never worked out and I'm trying to figure it out. This is a business card on DSF. They have the option of using any combination on 4 numbers (phone, cell, fax and toll free). The toll free number is selected from a pick list. The issue is that if they select "none" in that picklist it is returning Toll Free: None when I need it to suppress the label all together. This is how it is supposed to look and everything is currently working EXCEPT the toll free label. As I said I know just enough to be dangerous. All 4 numbers used: Office: (000) 000-0000 • Cell: (000) 000-0000 Fax: (000) 000-0000 • Toll-Free: 1-800-000-000 ext.0000 No Cell: (if all 3 numbers do not fit on one line than it needs to go the next line, with no bullet in front or end of the line.) Office: (000) 000-0000 • Fax: (000) 000-0000 Toll-Free: 1-800-000-000 ext.0000 No Fax: (same as previous sample.) Office: (000) 000-0000 • Cell: (000) 000-0000 Toll-Free: 1-800-000-000 ext.0000 No Toll-Free or ext: (Add a bullet before Fax, and No bullet after Fax) Office: (000) 000-0000 • Cell: (000) 000-0000 • Fax: (000) 000-0000 FYI: The Toll-Free number is going to be a pick list in digital storefront, with 4 numbers to choose from, and there will be a separate field for the ext.#. golf card with appointment back.zip
  2. Has anyone been able to get this work? We are just about to try and tackle this as well.
  3. I have a business card that I'm trying to set up and the font the customer uses has a line of font that appears to be italicized.
  4. It's not. I'm attaching a screen shot but there is a drop down where they can choose between 3 toll free numbers or then can select none. If "none" is selected, the tag should drop as well as the phone number and the extension.
  5. I have a card that was created before my time that the customer is requesting a change to. It previously was a single sided card, and they are requesting a static back be added. In my mind this was a simple fix but I've been banging my head on this one. When I add the static back it somehow effects the Toll Free Field on the front. When "none" is selected for toll free, it's supposed to drop the tag and leave it blank. It does this just fine until I add the static back. I didn't touch the rules, or anything else just added the back and now it's returning "Toll Free: None" Any ideas?golf card.zip golf card wAppointment Back.zip
  6. Sorry, I'm just getting back around to this. Obviously, my experience is limited and I'm a graphic designer in way over my head I think I was getting hung up on the imposition aspect of this when I think FPImposer will take care of that part. My real issue is taking this one business card and having the customer have the option to fill out the info to create 5 separate cards. So I'll have Name1, Name2, Name3, Name4, Name5 and so on. So they will fill out info for: Card 1 Full Name1 Accrediation1 Title1 Street Address1 City1, State1 Zip1 Office1 Fax1 Mobile1 Email1 Card 2 Full Name2 Accrediation2 Title2 Street Address2 City1, State1 Zip2 Office2 Fax2 Mobile2 Email2 Card 3 Full Name3 Accrediation3 Title3 Street Address3 City1, State1 Zip3 Office3 Fax3 Mobile3 Email3 And so on...
  7. Awhile back I posted with an imposition question and got some help but was never able to work it out so just found a work around. The same issue has come up again so I'm back at it. I am working on a 2 sided card to be used on a DSF site that I've set up in fusion pro. The cards are printed on press not digitally. Because of this they are printed 10 up on and they want to give the customer the option of buying 1 name (10 up), 2 names (2x5up) or 5 names(1 of each up). Each card will be set up as follows: Name, Credentials Title Street Address, City, State, Zip Office | Fax | Mobile Email Ideally, I'd like for each individual card to be shown in dsf, but for the imposition file to impose according to the amount of names ordered. I have no clue how to to go about this. I'm attaching my working files PB BC.zip Desired Layout.pdf
  8. So I'm stuck on this card AGAIN. I used what I learned from this one and built the other 5 rounds of cards that were required for this customer, however, there is a problem with this original one. Everything views just fine in Fusion Pro, but when get it onto Digital Store Front the logo for Colonial Fuel & Lubricant isn't populating, all the others are fine. I suspected it had to do with the ampersand and have banged my head trying to figure it out. I put in a help request with DSF over a month ago and still don't have a resolution...my thought is that if it's previewing correctly in FP that it's most likely a DSF issue? Do you see anything in the files that could lead to problems?Colonial BC.zip
  9. Thank you! That was such a help. I have everything up and running smoothly except for a few issues in phone number section. I cannot get the fax number to line up with the other numbers. Again, I know it's probably something simple but simple things aren't so simple to me yet Any ideas? Also, the bottom phone number, no matter if it's used or not doesn't display a number. So if the number selected was the Hanger it will display as: Hanger: Hanger I'm attaching screen shots and the zip files, and again, I really appreciate all the help! 10. I am working on a fairly simply business card in Fusion Pro that will be used on a DSF site. I'm hung up on a few things and am hoping y'all may be able to help. Issue 1 The card has the option to pick on of 8 different logos. I've set that up using a graphic pick list with a drop down menu and that's working fine. The issue is that within the address section. The first line will be the Company Name and I'd like it to prepopulate based on the logo they choose. It should look like the following: Company Name Address 1 Address 2 City, State Zip I've tried to do it using formatted text resources but I'm missing something. Zip Files are attached. Issue 2 This card is being converted to DSF from an existing Page DNA site so we're trying to match that look as much as possible. For the phone number section, there is room for 4 numbers but 5 options. So the page dna site had 4 different drop downs with all 5 options listed (see attached photo). I don't need this to function exactly like the page dna site, but I'm trying to think through other options. Currently I have instructions to choose up to 4 phone numbers and while it works I think it could be confusing. Are there any other options? Issue 3 The phone numbers should look as follows: Office: 000.000.0000 Direct: 000.000.0000 Mobile: 000.000.0000 Fax: 000.000.0000 I have it set to suppress if there are empty variable and I've made sure to use hard returns, however unless I use 4 numbers it drops the actual numbers to another line so it looks like: Office: 000.000.0000 Direct: 000.000.0000 As always thanks for helping! 11. Thanks! I'm in the habit of using soft returns, looks like I need to break it!
  12. I've spent all together too much time on something that should be so easy! I know it's something simple that I'm missing so I'm hoping someone might be willing to take a look at my files. I'm setting up a simple Business Card in Fusion Pro to be used on DSF. The phone number section will look like this: Office: «Change phone format Rule - Office»
Mobile: «Change phone format Rule - Mobile»
 Direct: «Change phone format Rule - Direct»
 «Email» I have it set to suppress if there are empty variables, however it suppresses the entire box if any of the phone variables aren't present. If the email isn't present, it's fine. Any ideas? Maschio Pack.zip
  13. We have a variable letter that we are setting up in fusion pro. On one page there is an agreement summary and it lists the Optional Coverage that they have. There are 24 different options (fields). What I'm trying to achieve is that if fields are used there will be a hyphen between them but it will drop out if not. Example: Option1 - Option2 - Option3 - Option 4 I started with this which works but I'm sure there is a much easier way than doing this for each option? if ((Field("optional1") != "") && (Field("optional2") != "")) return Field("optional1") + " - " + Field("optional2"); else if ((Field("optional1") != "") && (Field("optional2") == "")) return Field("optional1"); else return "";
