  1. What folder does FP look into when it needs to load a font? I'm trying to do a run a job and am getting a message saying "The FusionPro template uses fonts which are not loaded on this machine." (see attached) The font I need is there - FP just can't find it. When I click on the Yes button, FP takes me to a specific font folder and the one I need is not showing up. Which of the half dozen font folders is it looking into? It's a good quality font, I've run FP>Advanced>Load Fonts>Load All several times to no avail. I've also checked Load Local Fonts in the Acrobat Preferences. The Font loads OK for all the other apps on my Mac.
  2. I just tried to compose an important job and got the following: A fatal error has occurred and FusionPro must abort. It is possible the disk is full - no it's not I have 235 gig avail. Composition stopped with error. Error no 1096 Not sure if it's a Mac error code of FP error code. When I opened the log file it was empty. Thought data file out of my mailing software might be corrupt but saw no problems after careful inspection with Excel. Anyone else have this problem and hopefully a solution?!? Mac OSX 10.7.5 Acrobat 10.1.4 FP 8.1.2
  3. Thank you Thomas. Your suggestion worked and the customer is happy. The font wouldn't load as ttf but did when I converted to off.
  4. I've been trying for several days to load the ttf font aquiline book / bold. I've followed every post I can find on this forum yet FP refuses to see it from the variable text editor. I placed the font in users>library>fonts. I've reloaded the fonts from the advanced>load fonts>load all menu several times. I've even re-installed FP several times. The font I'm using is OK as every other application on my mac saw the font immediately. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Word, etc. Any help would be appreciated as the customer will only accept Aquiline as the output for their job.
  5. Thanks Step! That did the trick. The job will be finished in 2 hours and my boss is happy.
  6. Acrobat 10.1.3 FP 8.0.20 Mac OS 10.7.4 Output after composing is still heavily pixelated and unusable. See attached. Any ideas? data-Output.pdf
  7. Acrobat 10.1.3 FP 8.0.20 Mac OS 10.7.4 I'm trying to create name badges that have employee pictures and names. The pictures were created in Photoshop and saved as 300 dpi tiff files. I've created all the necessary rules and resources but when I preview the output of the badges, the photos appear very pixelated as tho they were down sampled. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I told my boss this job would be a "piece of cake"
