  1. Hi Dan, Thanks for the reply. No, I am not running version 6. I had forgotten those versions were specified on my profile page. Now it's up to date. Good to know that a page number can be used rather than the name in SetBodyPageUsage. Neither the manual nor the help text in "Building Blocks" have been updated to reflect this change, at least in version 10.1.11. This isn't the first instance I've run into where changes to the built in functions or objects have been made, and those changes have not been reflected in the documentation. Are you aware of any efforts to improve that? Would you recommend I submit a support ticket when I run into something like that?
  2. I have a job with approximately 180 different pages in it, and I'm using FusionPro to choose the appropriate page based on my CSV file. The problem is, the FusionPro.Composition.SetBodyPageUsage() function takes the NAME of the page, as set in the Page Usage dialog. What I'm trying to avoid is having to manually key in names for 180 template pages. Is there a way to set page usage in OnRecordStart by page NUMBER instead of name? Or, optionally is there any way for me to more easily change all of the page names rather than one-by-one in the Page Usage dialog?
  3. Yes, that is an option I thought about, but I was trying to avoid all the copy & paste of recreating my rules. Changing to a different data source type seems to blow away all of the existing rules. That's probably what I'll end up doing unless someone has another idea. I was hoping there was something I could add to one of the callback functions.
  4. I've tried searching for this on the forum, but with no luck. I am setting up a 12-page calendar in FusionPro, with a single template page, building tables for the dates using Javascript date functions, with no data source. I am able to generate an output file just fine, by setting the record range of 1-12 on the input tab when composing. The issue is, I am only able to preview record #1. It would be nice while working on this to be able to preview additional records, rather than compose the output over and over. Any suggestions? Running FusionPro 10.1.11 in Acrobat XI 11.0.22 on Mac OS 10.13.6.
  5. "Use original graphics" is the only thing checked. I do not have "Save graphics to external location" checked, or a location specified.
  6. Thanks for the reply Dan. You'll forgive me if I don't apologize for the comments or filenames of the original poster. I just happened to see a thread about the same error I'm having... I am running FP 8.0.20, Acrobat 10.1.3, Mac OS X 10.6.8. This error only occurs when "Use original graphics" is checked, which is the default, and is recommended in the FP manual. 7. Getting the exact same error. Anyone have any ideas?
  8. After cleaning out the font cache, I think you need to have FP rebuild the font cache using FusionPro->Advanced->Load Fonts.
  9. That worked like a charm, Kim. Thanks! I'm familiar with cleaning caches, and had done that. What I wasn't familiar with was FP's font cache. I think clearing that out is what did the trick. -Adam
  10. Yeah, I've just been switching it to Arial. I was just wondering, since it never happened on my old 10.4 Mac. Thanks for the tip on putting my extra numbers with the endorsement, rpaterick.
  11. I have a new Mac, running Snow Leopard (10.6.3) and I'm having an issue with Helvetica. Helvetica previews fine, but does not compose correctly. This is the opposite of the Helvetica issue with "Use Local Fonts" that has been posted here. Here's the preview: http://www.econoprint-racine.com/adam/fp-helv1.png ...and the output: http://www.econoprint-racine.com/adam/fp-helv2.png I have not experienced this issue with any other fonts. Anyone have any ideas?? Running FP 6.2P1a/Acrobat 9.3.2 Thanks, Adam
