  1. Hi everyone. I am attempting to build a Marcom product that will allow users to upload a 11x8.5 PDF with any number of pages. I have my multipage PDF rule working great within my text frame but... My press constraints only allow for .0625" bleeds if I want to print this 2up. The issue I am having is the bleeds are overlapping in gutter on my sheet. I want to be able to upload a PDF with what ever bleed the user gives it. I know if I upload a PDF with .0625 bleeds it will work but this Marcom product will be open to consumers. Am I doing anything wrong? Is there any issue with my imposition? I have tools that can change the media and bleed boxes of a PDF but I don't want to use them if I don't have to. Do i have any other options? Thanks in advance for any help. I have included my files for review. Imposition problem.zip
  2. PTI team, I found a couple of annoying things happening in FP 9.2.31 on the mac. The tab order doesn't work in both Insert Page and the Compose/Input - From [] to [] section. Please fix these in the next update. Thanks. Ryan
  3. Thanks Dan!! I did get that to work using 2 overflow pages as you suggested.
  4. I am not sure if this issue has been covered on another post or not but I have a 2-sided job where page 1 can overflow into any number of pages and the other side is a static piece of art that needs to print on the back of all pages. As you may already know the overflow pages flow consecutively and not to every odd page like I need it to. As is, if I compose a record where the overflow makes 2 pages the PDF would have the body page 1, overflow page 1, overflow page 2 and the static back page. I need it to be body page 1, static back, overflow page 1, static back, overflow page 2 and static back, Can anyone point me out in the right direction? How do I force the overflow pages to every odd page and repeat the back page? Do I have to count the pages in the record first and then repeat the back pages x number of times? I'm not a nube but this one is throwing me for a loop. Thanks for any help in advance.
  5. No. I never heard from anyone on this. Is there a variable I can use? It would be great if there is. thanks, Ryan
  6. Has anyone else tested the use of PDF forms in Marcom yet? I have only had limited luck getting the form fields to work. I have a PDF that has hundreds of check boxes that I let Acrobat name. FP only retains the first row of check box fields. Maybe it's a naming issue. Acrobat naming convention is such: checkbox2.0.0, checkbox2.0.1, checkbox2.0.2... When I pull a PDF from the Marcom manager I loose about 90% of the checkboxes. Anyone? Thanks, Ryan
  7. I would like to add the sales order number or ticket number from an order to the slug line on my template page (not the FP slug, my slug)... on the press sheet. Is there a variable in FP that can pull either of those in? Thanks for any help... Ryan
