Whenever I edit my flat file data I lose any rules I have previously created (such as Phone Format rules or Change Case Rules, for example). Dan Korn Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 This is a confirmed bug; please refer to case FP-11178. We hope to have this fixed in an upcoming release. In the meantime, here are a few workarounds: Convert all the "template" rules to JavaScript.Export the Data Definition (.def file) and import it again after using the "Edit Flat File Data" dialog.Edit your flat file in an external editor.
