rgreenidge Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Is there a way to retain soft returns created in InDesign. I have noticed that whenever I export a document from InDesign upon creation of the PDF everything appears to be fine with the wrapping, but as soon as I make a change in the variable text editor the text reflows and the soft returns seem to be no longer valid. The only way I have found to get around this is to remove the soft returns in InDesign, replace them with hard returns and readjust my line spacing. Thanks in advance. Richard. mhilger Posted April 2, 2009 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Hello Richard, We added support for soft returns in the Variable Text Editor in the FusionPro 5.8 release (http://www.printable.com/FusionPro-VDP-version-history/).
