WBG-guy Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Just received an order for business cards VDP which the client fills in the appropriate information to process the job. The customer went into the "email" field and added the email but then proceeded to also add a website address in the same field. Which scrambled the QR code that I had setup. Can you tell me how you can setup the fields so only email and/or website information can be placed? Maybe even having a message pop up that will inform them how the information should be formatted? Dan Korn Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 You can certainly use some pattern-matching logic in a JavaScript rule to validate the data at composition time and write some kind of failure indication to the output. However, if you want to find out how to validate the data at the time it's entered on the form in MarcomCentral, please ask that question in the MarcomCentral forum.
