dazedandconfused
Hi I am the greenest of green - first time user of FP Desktop. I have done all the formatting, frippery etc needed, and am pleased with the end result, BUT - having never worked with .csv files before, I have discovered that the dates are losing all format, and ending up 1-Jul-38 instead of 1 July 2038. I read on the FP product info that data can supplied directly as an xls file - how?? It won't accept the data in the alternative format. Failing that, can someone tell me how to alter the data and save so that the dates appear correctly? Thanks in advance...
rpaterick
Create a new rule with your current .csv file. return FormatDate(Field("date 1"), "d lm yyyy"); This should take your data and return: 1 July 2038 You can add "commas" to the "d lm yyyy" also.
