Variable maps with directions

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any information about or has done any mailers with Variable Maps that include directions.

We have a client looking to do a mail piece for a bank that displays a map that has directions from the addressee's home address to the nearest bank location.

Any input would be helpful.

Sounds like a complex campaign.

Not sure if your data file could be uploaded to Google.maps or Mapquest to pull that kind of info out and then put it back into your mail file somehow.

The banks maps would be easy part to put in, assuming they provided you with some sort of image for each branch and a call out for that branch in the mail file.

This sounds like something I was looking into for a while about 6 months ago. Never did anything with it because the client dropped the submission, but if I were you, I would start here http://developer.mapquest.com/web/info/mapquest-trc .

The cost may be an issue and setup is by no means easy, but talking to the rep at mapquest, it would definitely produce the maps you are looking for.
